No Birds @ Dyrholaey
After having teared myself away from the DC3 wreckage at Solheimarsandur, the next stop on our circle of Iceland is not very far away. The famous cliffs at Dyrholaey are well know with birdlovers all over the world for ( amongst other ) the amount of Puffins which can be seen there during summer. Unfortunately while i was there the birds were apparently grounded due to very strong winds. Going near the top of the cliff was not completely without danger as one could easily be swept off the rocks.
